Quick and easy prototype creation
For producing parts for their prototypes, STD uses a conventional lathe, as it is prcies and offers the right possibilities. Recently, STD began looking for a CNC machine that would allow them to quickly implement changes. Since STD was already familiar with Huvema and we are located in the same region, they reached out to us during their search. After an impressive demonstration during our open day, our XYZ machine with ProtoTRAK control caught their attention. The entry level of the XYZ machines and the fact that no prior CNC knowledge is required to operate them were decisive factors in their decision to purchase the XYZ ProtoTRAK CNC lathe RLX 425 x 1.25m. This machine is our best-selling XYZ workhorse, with an 80-mm spindle bore and a bed and frame made from a single piede! The machine was quickly deliverd after ordering, and in no time STD was able to complete their first project using the RLX machine. Huvema provides customers with support on tooling and related questions, and thanks to our advice on tooling, STD can produce parts efficiently.
