Welding helmet for MMA, MIG-MAG and TIG welding with adjustable darkening (DIN 4/5 ÷ 9/9 ÷ 13). When the welding arc is ignited, the liquid crystal filter automatically darkens and quickly returns to its dark state when the arc is extinguished. This means that the mask does not have to be raised and lowered during each work break; the hands remain free to work. In addition to adjusting the filter sensitivity to adapt to the welding process, the delay time at which the transition from the dark to the light state occurs after an arc interruption can be specified externally. In this way it is possible to take into account the brightness of the workpiece.
